NetSet Information

This page has been setup to assist former NetSet customers with the migration to IwayNet. If you have any questions regarding anything on this site please feel free to contact us at support@iwaynet.net.

Dial-up Settings
Some minor changes are necessary to be made to connect to IwayNet.
  1. First, you must change the dial-up number that you are using to connect. Our main number is 586-1646. You can also lookup other alternative numbers by going to our phone lookup page.
  2. Second, you need to make a modification to your NetSet username for dial-up. For the username it should read like an email address. For example: username@netset1.com.
  3. Optional: If you are able to connect but are having trouble getting to any websites. You may need to specify the option in your settings for Obtain DNS server addresses automatically. Feel free to contact support concerning where to find this option. Please note that for the time being you may not be able to access www.netset1.com. This does not mean that you are not able to view websites. Try entering www.yahoo.com if this is the case.
This should be all that needs to be changed to dial-up to IwayNet.

Webmail E-mail
We have setup a webmail application so that you can check your e-mail with your web browser. To access this you need to visit http://mail.netset1.com, and login with your username and password.

POP3 E-mail using Outlook, Eudora, Netscape, etc...
All settings should stay the same in your email software. Be sure the incoming mail server (POP3) is set to mail.netset1.com and the outgoing mail server (SMTP) is set to mail.netset1.com if you use IwayNet to connect to the internet. If you are using a broadband provider you may need to use their outgoing mail server.

Spam Filter Setup
Spam Filter settings can be accessed by logging into our webmail interface at http://mail.netset1.com. Once logged in hit the Filters link at the top of the page and follow the instructions. All spam messages will be automatically placed in your Junk folder so you can review these messages. Junk messages will be automatically deleted in 6 days.
