Simba's rescue

A friend learned of a Siberian Husky who had been abandoned at the local Humane Society. As we, along with all of our friends, are unequivocal animal lovers, we all desperately tried to find Simba a home. Working against time, I contacted family and friends explaining what a wonderful dog Simba was and that I would not allow her to be put down. Robb's parents immediately agreed to take her. Simba was saved! Robb, Jeff and I went to the Humane Society to pick her up the next night. Robb and I were going to keep her until his parents came to our house for Christmas.

Well, the two weeks flew by. SImba is a truly wonderful dog. She and Jasper became best buddies immediately. She was always happy to see us and was desperate for affection. We are not sure if abuse occurred to this precious animal, but we are sure that this sweet girl gets more than enough love and attention than she could ever need in her new home.
