Information from page 120 of the Adkins book, and from what Dennis Adkins remembered. Some dates were taken from tombstones at Franklin Cemetery. I would request anyone having any photos of family members not pictured on this web site to e-mail me a scanned image of the picture. I have been unsuccessful in locating any pictures to date of Elisha Adkins's siblings. - I am very interested in any picture that shows his parents/grandparents/brother/sisters etc. I am also interested in pictures showing a young Elisha or Julia Ann (Bills) Adkins

This picture is a recent addition to the webpage. I am very pleased with the addition of this picture for a several reasons. This is the only picture that I have of America. This picture came to me from two of my cousins and then was cleaned up quite a bit by another cousin --Keffier Adkins. (Keffier has played not only a prominent role but an absolutely critical role in the development of this site) So the appearance of this picture on this page has truly been a cooperative accomplishment
