The New Testament Book of Philippians

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made know unto God. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 KJV

* CHAP * COMMENTS

* 1 * Paul & Timothy to the Saints at Philippi with the Bishops & deacons. I remember you in every prayer. What has happened to me has worked to spread the gospel. For me to live is Christ & to die is gain. Let your manner of life be as it becometh the gospel of Christ. It is given to you - not only to believe, but to suffer for his sake.
* 2 * Have the same love. Be of one accord, of one mind, which was in Christ. Who was in the form of God but took the form of a servant made in the likeness of men. He humbled himself unto death. So God has exalted Him. Work out your own salvation with fear & trembling. Don't murmur. I want to send Timothy to you but hope to come myself soon. Receive Epaphroditus who has been deathly sick.
* 3 * Rejoice in the Lord. Beware of the concision. I could trust in fleshly things, but I consider them loss for the knowledge of Christ. Forget the past & press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Follow those who walk as I walk, for many are enemies of Christ's cross. We look for Christ from heaven. He will subdue all things unto himself.
* 4 * Sisters, be of the same mind. Help those who worked with me in the gospel. Recjoice in the Lord. Be temperate, Don't worry. God's peace will keep your heart and mind. Think on good things. I rejoice in your care for me even though I have learned to be content. I can do all things through Christ. To God be glory. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
